I am a vocalist, vocal instructor, songwriter, and composer. I started singing with my brothers and sisters and on my own at a young age, performing at various church and family events as well as competing in talent and vocal competitions. I grew up in a household with diverse music tastes, listening to everything from classical and old school soul to folk and modern popular music.

I attended Utah Valley University and graduated with a degree in Commercial Music in 2019. While at UVU I was a member of the Women’s and Chamber choir and participated in university concerts as a solo artist. I studied vocal technique under Heide Slazak and Kimberly Knighton. I have recorded and produced my own songwriting projects as well as projects for other artists at school and in my home studio. Under the guidance of experienced teachers, I developed an ability to compose music in different genres and using different techniques. I have also had the opportunity to spend time in a professional studio observing recording sessions.

As a vocal instructor, I am able to teach contemporary music styles as well as classical and musical theater. I am knowledgeable about vocal pedagogy and am fascinated with how the voice works. My love for helping students find joy in expressing themselves through their voice makes me a patient and dynamic teacher.
I have a deep passion for composition and songwriting. I love creating atmospheres and moods in my compositions. Songwriting, for me, is a way to express emotions and tell stories that are relatable and enjoyable to hear. I love opportunities to create in new styles and work quickly to make adjustments as needed.
